HAHAHA I know the title got you, didn't it.
Well it's not what you think.
We've got ........
I can not believe it either. I just told my love that next week we need to go get the marriage license. Are you kidding me. I am getting married. WHAT! I know, I know calm down... breathe. I sometimes don't believe this is actually going to happen. 2 months to go and I'll be a Mrs. WOW, that sound nice. Can't wait to sport my new handle on my name. HAHAHA since I get to keep my last name. Too funny.
Well I know your dying to know what's been going on. We managed to get my Granny an outfit. She's so excited about it. It's too cute. My mom on the other hand, well she hasn't found anything. I am worried about the Bridesmaids. I know I can't control everything, but I don't want them to miss the window to get their dresses altered if they need to. But I am good. This teaches me a lot about letting go and letting things happen as they should. We can't control everything. And I know in 69 days I am going to have to let everything go and live in the moment. God help me.
We got the cake topper. Now I have to create the embellishments that are suppose to go on the cake. I've managed to help my groom figure out his attire. I am so excited to see it. Oh and I managed to get the invitations out. We've already got 3 RSVPS back. Totally cool. Only one of them is an regret. Here is a glimpse of them.
Don 't you just love the vintage them... of LOVE!!! I totally love the damask in the inline of the envelope. Have to make sure I totally pull that in some how in the reception. I choose black and white because #1 it was cheaper. Sorry, but it's the truth. Adding color was causing the cost to go up. and #2 I didn't think it was important for my guest to know the color scheme until they get there. This keeps them guessing unless they've talk to me personally.
I think it was a good alternative. All the modern invites are all too expense.I think I made a good choice.
Sunday we'll be heading to the Winter/Spring Bridal Expo at the Country Club and since our DJ is doing the event we will be meeting with them to discuss some details. That should be cool. Love the Event Director at the Country Club. She is totally awesome. I love those gals over there. They have been such a help to me. I can not thank them enough.
My first fitting is soon. It's in two weeks!!! Can't wait. And next week we will be discussing the family/wedding party get together (instead of a rehearsal dinner) and we'll get to see our candy buffet set-up with Classic Candy Buffet. I can't wait to see what she come up with.
Tomorrow is Wedding Saturday. Everything is going to be dedicated to the things I didn't get to do this week. Work has been crazy and I haven't had anytime for wedding stuff. I've been so wiped. I can't wait to get back into my groove. I've got some ideas I need to test. Some signage I need to purchase and decide what we are going to do for the programs. I want fans, but I don't know if I am going to be able to make them.

I don't know, I am torn. I know the guys wouldn't appreciate it. The woman of course, but I can't help but thinking maybe I will just make something simple for everyone. Cause I don't think everyone will bother keeping them. Or maybe I just make something real cute and leave it at that.
I won't push it. I am sure it will come to me.
We also have a vendor for our guest to upload pictures to from their phones. It's really neat. I will discuss that on the next blog.
I'll just tell you this experience is one to remember. People have said I've done a good job and I've been on top of everything. Let me tell you, it hasn't been easy. It can be very easy to become overwhelmed.
But as you can tell things are moving right along. Before you know it .. We'll be standing in front of our friends and family saying the magical "I Dos." Can't wait.
Sweet Talk & Love :)
