Longest Day ....

Today my Husband lost his mother. God decided it was time for her to come home. He gave her wings and sent her on her way. Leaving an endless trail of those she helped, fed, clothed and loved.  We can not question God's decision. We have to accept his will and try to gain some kind of peace from the situation.

No words can heal or comforts one's broken heart from losing a parent. But what I do know is with time and God it gets a little easier. The catch, you have to do the work. I've watched my nieces and nephews carry on after losing their father, my brother. No it wasn't easy, but life has carried on. We have babies, we get married, we graduate, we grow old and experience life and before we know it that pain has taken a back seat to everything else going on.

The point is.. live your life. Make the memories and bury the Bull Shit. Worry about yourself and get your life together. You can not flourish in life if your stuck in other peoples drama. Make a choice and choose you. Have fun. Love. Be free and true to yourself. Stop making excuses. You only get to live once.

SO LIVE.

Make good, happy memories. So when people leave your life you and your family have something to hold to in your heart.

To my Mother-In-Law, Thank you for allowing me to take care of your precious cargo. The memories that we have of you, on film from the wedding on May 24th are priceless. We will cherish them forever!
We love you always.
