Last night Izzy and I went to the beach. I may have mentioned it a few times, but that's what I believe makes him a good Hubby. A lot of times he's listening even when I don't think he hears me.
What is that saying they always say, "Happy Wife, Happy Life!" HaHaHa I guess that's true!
I think about life and what is going on today. We've experienced so much in the few months we have been married. None of it has been easy and lot of it has been hard work. There has been disagreements, misunderstandings, loss, pain, happiness, joy, laughter, fun, love ...... I could go on and on, but you get the point. It's work.
They say the first year of your marriage is the hardest. Gosh, did they factor in LIFE changes too. I can not imagine it getting any harder than it has, but we all know it can and it will. That's life. We can not save ourselves from the challenges of life. The only thing we can do is love each other enough to work through it and heal together. No matter what is going on with your other family, friends, work... You have to learn how to hold on to each other in the hard times. When we behave badly we have to trust our love and think higher of each other. That's what love looks like.
You have to communicate with each other. Speak your truth and own your truth. There is nothing more vulnerable than being truthful. On the other hand there is no harm in hearing the truth. We have to learn that we have to respect others experiences of us. We may not like it, but we have to hear it. It helps us to experience what others see.
I love my Hubby for the things he does for me. I try to tell him every day how much he means to me. We don't have much, but we have each other and the memories we create with each other are priceless. I feel the same about my family and my friends. I thank God every day for those individuals who I have in my life. Sometimes we don't talk much, but that does not change how I feel about them. No matter what they have, don't have or how they have acted. I am thankful for them.
Who knows what tomorrow will bring, but I choose to focus on Today! I have to live my life. Every day I live, I know it is going to be Hard Work.
The decision we all have to make is, are we willing to do the work?
Be Love.
Have a wonderful day.
Sweet Talk & Love....
