I know I haven't blogged in a while, but we can not go into 2014 without sharing the moments of 2013 we will cherish. For a newly wed couple we've experienced a whole lot. We thank you all for sharing in our new start with us. We love you all. We hope you have a BLESSED start to 2014.

Yesterday Was A Good Day....

I was just sitting here thinking when was the last time I wrote a blog. Then it hit me... September 15! OMG that was such a long time ago. I know you've been checking back to see if I have anything else to say in the last couple of months.  It's been crazy, but we have some cool things to share. We're not going to share all at once, we're going to keep you guessing! For now I will just get you caught up on the little things..... LOL

The Hard Work

Last night Izzy and I went to the beach. I may have mentioned it a few times, but that's what I believe makes him a good Hubby. A lot of times he's listening even when I don't think he hears me.

What is that saying they always say, "Happy Wife, Happy Life!" HaHaHa I guess that's true!

The end of July and the Month of August really sent us on a world wind of emotions. Since being married we've endured some crazy times. I can only give credit to God! If it wasn't for our father up above I don't know if we would have made it. Thank God.

Longest Day ....

Today my Husband lost his mother. God decided it was time for her to come home. He gave her wings and sent her on her way. Leaving an endless trail of those she helped, fed, clothed and loved.  We can not question God's decision. We have to accept his will and try to gain some kind of peace from the situation.

I am no longer a BRIDE I am a WIFE and this is no longer a blog all about our wedding journey. Now we're on another journey. One that requires a husband and a wife.

I know I've been away for a while and I haven't even shown you all the pictures. So I guess it's time to share them all. If you've got the time.

We had a wonderful day with friends and family. We will remember it forever. It was everything we wanted and could have asked for. If we could we would do it all over again, we would.  It was a perfect day!!!!!  We've been celebration ever since!

The pressure of the RSVP process is crazy. Sometimes it really makes you want to scream. This part of the process for any Bride is stressful. Especially a budget savvy bride.  You send the invites out and you address them very carefully. Hoping no one crosses the line. And you get one back and they've included an extra body on to their count. What in God's Name do you do?

Time is getting close. Friday we paid our last payment for the Photographer. You have no idea what a weight that was lifted off our shoulders. But then I had the strangest feeling come over me, they call it Buyers remorse. REALLY??? Are you kidding me. I couldn't believe it.

Make-Up Preview and More.....

Time is winding down. We have 80 more days, well as of 2pm today 79 more days. I can't actually believe it. It's coming around the corner like a steam engine.

I am so proud of myself. I got two thing done before the wedding. My Hair preview and my Make-Up Preview. We did something different with my hair right now. I am trying different things, so I know what to expect the day of the wedding. I've never wore a weave before. Heck.. The purchase of the hair alone was crazy expensive. I think my Fiance was amazed himself. I had serious buyers remorse. But that's happen with everything I've bought. Kinda funny I think. But I eventually get over it. I've had a lot of emotions about this whole experience. But what I do LOVE at this moment.... How my make-up is going to be.

Lost & Found ....

It's been a while..... I've been sick and tied up doing other things, but today I thought I would get back to blogging because we only have 94 days left until the wedding. I've been sooo lost. Unsure of linens and changing decor. I have been a mess. My Coordinator at the Country Club says I am right on it, but I can't help but think I am not. Maybe this will help me find my way so to speak. Plus, I missed talking to my viewers. So you ready???

These are our wedding invites. Our colors are apple and canary. We decided with a basic black with a damask lined inner envelope. We are so in love with love these were prefect. Inexpensive, simple and classic. Can't wait to add a little embellishment and mail them out. They even sent me extra invites. Thanks David's Bridal. First it was my dress, now this. You guys ROCK.

Cake, Invitaions & Food

I have been extreemly busy. I found a new dress in one week. Found shoes to go with my dress.Ordered paper to do our wedding invites. Only to coming to terms with the idea that I didn't have the time or  enery to deal with the madness.

The paper I purchased was awesome. The invites that I created were going to look great. But my printer decided it didn't like it so I had to send it all back. I was heart broken. But I had to put on my Big Girl Pants and deal with it. I was back to looking at invitation on the internet. And I didn't have time to waste.

With all of that on my mind, we headed out to our Cake Tasting. We were early. Our cake consultant was awesome. We were able to choose what we wanted and not have to pay anything extra. I have a few details I need to attend to, but I am sure I can get it done.

In the meantime I some how caught another stupid cold! I have been so sick and run down its been lame. In this hail of sickness, but I managed to pull the trigger and purchase or invites. At first I thought they should be the color of the wedding. Then I thought I need to include our theme... then it hit me. Most of our invitees are going to toss our invites. So why would I spend hundreds of dollars on them.

So I went with a simple vintage, black & white invite. Our theme is very vintage & whimsicle. I think it will work well. Now as they say, It's Official. In two weeks they will be here. Tuesday we are tasting our food and seeing a sample of our lien setting. Then it is really official. I can't wait. But until then, I guess I will stay in and wrap up the music & ceremony list. Oh and let us not forget.... get well too.
